So far, Alexander has played his viola at the farmers market, collected bottles and cans for the deposit, held bake sales and done chores for neighbors and friends.

Today the family is having events at two locations from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. A bake sale and a rummage sale of household items, such as clothing, bakeware, children s toys and accessories, wall hangings and such will be at the Peace Lutheran Church, 2540 Applegate St. in Philomath.

During the same hours, a bake sale and rummage sale of electronics, tools, building materials and such will be at the Man s Annex of the Corvallis Cabinet Shop, 7035 S.W. Philomath Blvd.
